Hello Sandy, I used to recondition these for resale. In almost all cases, I recommend purchasing an original Xbox wired controller. Understood this is not wireless, however it will enable you to use the Xbox. New or refurbished controllers are relatively inexpensive and can be purchased at Gamestop, Amazon or eBay. You may need a different driver file. If the driver you are trying to use is 32 bit only, then you can not use it for 64 bit windows.

No. But... search for "peripheral adapters", because it used to be you couldn't use a keyboard and mouse with console games but now a few companies actually make hardware that allow you to plug in USB devices to use with PS/3-Xbox, etc. So, probably still no on PS/2 but maybe searching under ps2 hacks might find some ingenious hardware wizards?

I started having trouble with my brakes and throttle either not operating or operating sporadically (MC2 pedal set). I tried slightly jiggling the cord near the connection on the steering wheel base and found I could get the pedal set operating again. To keep the pedal set operating while I play (drive), I drape the pedal set cord over the steering wheel set gear shift. Amazingly, that one difference keeps the pedal set operating consistently. By the way, I had ordered another pedal set in the box on E-Bay when I found this draping technique worked. The E-Bay set is still in the box in my closet as a back-up. Don't need it ... yet. This is what I have been doing since the issue occurred about two years ago. Hope this resolves your issues.

Double check the batteries. If loose batteries try replacing them, if you have a cable make sure they are plugged in. Sometimes the controllers lose the synchronization with the gaming systems and need to be plugged into the systems

walmart has them or amazon mat be cheaper google search>>> try entering the search like this>>> charger for(your trio model number) amazon. if you dont have a credit card to make the purchase online do the search anyway because you should be able to get the model number for the charger you need,then you can go to a retail store like walmaert. walmart carries universal adapter chargers also. if they dont have what you need in store go to the help center and they will have it shipped to that store. Its much easier to do this online @ walmart.com then all you have to do is go to the store and pick the item up when it arives in a few days
