Spools? Do you mean the toner cartridge? If it is, take it out and holding it on the outside edges, rock it back and forth 10 to 20 times to even out the toner in the cartridge. Hi, if your PC has a serial port I'd think the motherboard should have a parallel port header on board. What you'd need to find would then (if my idea is right) just be a parallel port bracket for your computer (to be mounted at the back, in one of the plugin card spaces) which should come with a standardized connector to fit the header on the motherboard.
