Could you please recheck for the model number. R134A is a reference to the coolant used in the freezer mechanism. Orange is often a reference to the 'Fast Freeze' function being turned On. Green is showing the freezer unit is at the correct temperature. Red is warning the freezer is Too warm. Some freezers are fitted with an 'Economy' function where the freezer can be run at a lower power level when not used regularly such as when on holiday.

(easiest & cheapest to check first) MUCH Easier to test the idea than you would imagine: - Shut OFF your main breaker. - Open your panel & swap the wire with an EQUAL breaker - Tag the wires (to restore when finished trouble shooting) - Restore the main breaker (wait & see)... and don't forget to clean that CONDENSOR per owner manual instructions. Sounds like a stopped up defrost drain.

Check with Hotpoint / GE and inform them of your concerns.

I would check the thermostat, and check for loss of gas.

Check to see if the condenser coil needs to be cleaned. And make sure the condenser fan is running Always disconnect power before attempting to repair any electrical appliance

the flashing maybe door is not sealing check gaskets on door for folds or tears or door not aligned right

Gas leak, replace freezer.

Have you put a thermometer in the freezer? Leave it for half an hour to get a stable reading.

Water coming or not .if not not change filter

These tempratures are pretty cold should be around 0 deg. but it sounds like you might have a bad defrost timer or defrost thermostat the frost should not come back if defrost system is working

No cooling at all on fresh food section or the freezer section or both?

Maybe water filter light, change water filter.

Is unit running? If so, don't worry about the light, they regularly fail ! If unit not running, check fuse, power socket and mains cable to make sure you have power to unit.
