I have a Gateway MX6438 laptop. It had Windows XP
I would get Linux Mint on a DVD and boot from that. That will allow you to get at the windows partition and correct errors. I think the missing files may be zero in length. There are several Linux rescue disks that will also work for you. By the way Linux is free.

Gateway pc, windows vistsa, cant connect to router
Try using 'Network Magic' free download from their site. I find that this product makes connecting easy. You do not need to purchase the PRO version, the free will work fine for connecting.
If that does not work, log into your router using a wired pc and check if MAC addressing is enabled, if it is you will need to update the table with your new laptop's MAC.
If not, disable security and test to see if you can connect, if you still can not then you may have a issue with the pc. If you can, then check to ensure that the encryption you are using is supported by the PC's wireless card.
Turn reset the password on the router, re-enable security and try again.

How much should good scaffold brick guards cost me?
These should be expensive, but they are nothing of the sort. You can pick up quality scaffold brick guards online for as little as £3.99. I use a company called
BrikGard because they use 100% recycled plastic scaffold brick guards. I like to be as environmentally friendly as possible without compromising quality or increasing the purchase cost too much. Given that their brick guards are so cheap and made from 100% recycled plastic, I feel safe using them. Also, anyone working on-site should consider using a brick guard because it offers that extra layer of peace of mind so you can get focused on the job without worrying about things like falling debris coming down and striking you. For affordable scaffold brick guards, I would check out BrikGard.
Removal Storage
If you are looking for a company who use latest equipments then i would refer you to appoint "bison removals" or "guildford removals". These two companies have excellent instruments to make your removal effortless.
