Slide out the staple carriage to receive the staples. load some. Push the carriage into the gun and make sure it securely latches. There is a wire(rule) guide to let you know how many staples are left. if carriage jams use less staples.

I believe the two shafts are conjoined (one slides inside the other). Rust jacking may cause them to seize together. Liberally apply penetrating oil at the point where they meet and try to work them loose.

Likely the seat switch. It doesn't see an operator in the seat but can be reverse swirch or PTO switch or a short to frame. It requires further troubleshooting to determine exact cause.

Poor performance starter motor or low battery.

I wondered is they were adjustable for output? 13.2 to 13.8 is the average on a car. What is the voltage at the battery when the engine is running and the battery is charging? Contact vista and get a belt kit which will space the electric clutch down and bring the belt into better alignment.
