call atechnician to check the start/run capacitor for the compressor for the hum but what you describe is normal it takes heat in the cabinet tp evaporate the liguid gas which the compressor then converts back to liquid in that process the back fins get hot or the back of the fridge gets hot and that will remain hot until the thermostat switches off the compressor in which case the fins will get cold

I would call bosch directly, they have ppl that can help over the phone with some things.... Bosch is hard to work on so if you need service I would go with who ever Bosch recemends..... ken

That is caused by defrosting failure. There is a small heater tube at the bottom of the evaporator behind that panel which goes bad and is easy to replace. But it all has to be defrosted using a hairdryer first. Heater can be bought online or purchased locally. Yes! if you disconnected, that will be from condensation somewhere in cooling cycle, or the inside itself. Empty and clean pan thoroughly. For the alarm issue, look for a battery that has died or is about to.

Does ANYTHING work? Sure it's plugged in, breaker not tripped and GFI plug not tripped? Plug something else into the outlet to confirm that it works. Unplug from wall for 30 minutes to reset Bosch to defaults. Still malfunctioning? Main control board is faulty.
