Codes are to the television maker, they don't change depending on the make of remote used. But as I said, no one buys universals, you buy a copy remote made for the make model you have.

Akai ewi 5000 stops playing after a few minutes, how to fix it?
- The battery is low. The EWI 5000 uses a rechargeable battery, and if the battery is low, it may not be able to power the instrument for very long. Try charging the battery or replacing it with a new one.
- The power cord is not plugged in properly. Make sure that the power cord is plugged in securely to the instrument and to the power outlet.
- The instrument is overheating. The EWI 5000 can overheat if it is used for extended periods of time. If the instrument is overheating, it will stop playing to prevent damage. Try taking a break from playing the instrument and letting it cool down.
- There is a problem with the instrument. If you have tried all of the above and the instrument is still not working, there may be a problem with the instrument itself. You may need to contact Akai customer support for help.
Here are some tips to help prevent this problem from happening in the future:
- Keep the battery charged. Make sure that the battery is always charged so that the instrument does not run out of power.
- Plug the instrument in properly. Make sure that the power cord is plugged in securely to the instrument and to the power outlet.
- Take breaks from playing. If you are playing the instrument for extended periods of time, take breaks to let it cool down.
- Have the instrument serviced regularly. If you use the instrument frequently, it is a good idea to have it serviced regularly by a qualified technician. This will help to prevent problems from occurring.
I hope this helps!

I have a pdp4298ed1 akai TV with a digital antenna screwed into the ant in. How do I scan for digital channel's?
To scan for digital channels on your Akai PDP4298ED1 TV, you can follow these steps:
- Press the "Menu" button on your TV remote.
- Use the arrow buttons to select the "Setup" menu and press "OK".
- Use the arrow buttons to select the "Installation" option and press "OK".
- Select "Automatic Search" or "Auto Scan" and press "OK". The TV will begin scanning for digital channels.
- Once the scan is complete, the TV should display a list of channels that it has found. You can then use the arrow buttons to select a channel and press "OK" to tune to it.
If the auto scan feature does not work, you may need to try a manual scan instead. To do this, follow the same steps as above but instead of selecting "Automatic Search", choose "Manual Search" and enter the frequency of the channel you want to tune to. You can find the frequency information for your local channels by doing a quick online search or checking with your local TV provider.

The reason you're not finding any bad caps is that's not the issue. If it was the set wouldn't power up then shut down, faulty caps don't cause issues like this. One thing that would have helped is the model number but I have a good idea what's causing your issue. When the set is powered on it goes through the boot log sequence, this is stored in the EEPROM that's located on the main board, chances are if you take a can of freeze spray and freeze the IC the set will power up as this IC isn't used once the set has powered on but it would only work one time but it's a way to confirm if this is the issue. If you have advanced solder skills you can order an IC and replace it for under 20 bucks, but it's not something easy to do without the skills or equipment, the other option is replacing the main board, however that may run more than it's worth so buying a new TV may make more sense
