Adesso AKB-430UG touchpad problem
It is common if you have a static charge for the cursor to flick all over the screen as the static build up causes a malfunction with the screen. If you have nylon carpets or fabric on your chairs which builds a static charge this will make things worse. Try using the screen on a wooden table where there is a wooden floor and sit on a wooden chair. Before you do anything touch your hands onto something nearby and hold them there for a few seconds to get rid of the static charge. Then turn the power on to the screen while holding on to it. If it all works OK then you can be sure it was a static build up. Then try walking away for a minute or two and then try it again. If the cursor flicks all over the screen, you have got a static build up on your body. This is surprisingly common with laptops or similar devices when people use them on their laps while sitting on couches.
