The remote for my ilo 26 hd tv doesn't work

ILO is a Walmart brand made by Initial Tech - which is now out of business. At 800-216-5156 you can find a tech and you can send in your unit for repair. However you must pay both labor and repair because they do not honor the Initial Tech warranty - hardly worth the expense
I was told that Walmart does not carry the ILO brand any longer - no wonder. Where is a lawyer when you need one?
I have a 42 inch ilo tv, and my remote does not work either, it never has. I tried calling the ilo company but I found no listing. I called Best Buy and Radio Shack and was told that I had to find somewhere that has the same remote in order to get a remote for my plasma tv. No where has a remote for the ilo tv. So, our best bet is to get a new tv.

Yes the Emerson code 198 worked for my jumbo universal remote made my Innovage. I also have the ILO 32' TV and could not find the code but this one worked!!! Hope it helps

I currently in the midst of a complaint I filed with the BBB on this company. I am hoping that this may actually lead to a satisfactory result but I will have to wait and see. I encourage others to file against this company as well. I do not understand how a company can get away with such a poor quality product and even poorer customer service.

my remote works part time i can take batteries out put them back in it will work one or two times then have to do it again. have tried cleaning contacts but doesn't help. Some times it will work for two days then replace batteries and work again. what is the number for the company that makes ILO-26HD tv's?
