You need to order extra components in order to use the optional GPS function.. you can try checking circuit city or the Authorized Acoustik Suppliers for the products like the websites or you can check Ebay as someone might have the product

Ignore the above comment... SD cards and USB play fine on there (i have one).
Mine does the same, but leave it for 5-10 seconds after it says close and it loads it up!

Screen touch has no response

Welcome to Fixya.

This is a known issue for Garmin nuvi 550 and 650.
Re-calibrate your touchscreen.
Press and hold the power button 2-3 minutes, the unit will enter the calibration process. Calibrate as instructed.

How do I download pictures to my Power Acoustik PTID7002NR?

You can use a USB Flash drive or SD/MMC Card or an iPod to view files (Pictures,Videos,Music files..etc) in the player.Touch the icons [USB], [SD CARD], [IPOD] according to which device you are using.The corresponding modes are switched automatically by the player when it detects one of the above devices.The player will switch to [RADIO] mode automatically when the above devices are disconnected and if there is no Disc in the player or to the [DVD] mode if there is a Disc inserted.You can view the detailed description in the following link ( http://www.poweracoustik.com/pa2006/manual%20and%20catalog/source/PTID-7002NR.pdf ).Your valuable feedback would be appreciated.Good Luck.

When i turn my nuvi on, the screen goes blank and says "press dot"

Keep pressing the dot, its in calibration mode....

if you need to re-calibrate it this is how...

Turn unit off then back on

Slide Power Key to the right ( lock )

Hold your finger on the screen for 30 seconds until the calibration screen appears

Follow on screen instructions
( this may be where you see more dots)

Sounds like you need to recalibrate the screen. This can be done by following the steps below:

To Calibrate the Touch Screen on a zūmo®:
1. Turn the unit Off and make sure it is not attached to any outside power source.
2. Power the unit On, continue to hold the Power button for 1 minute. 3. A screen will display that says, Press dot in the lower left corner. 4. Release the Power button and touch the sequence of dots until your unit says Calibration complete.

Tech Help

You need to calibrate the touch screen. With the unit off press and hold the power button until the calibration screen appears (approx 35 seconds). The follow the instruction on touching the dot on the screen. Once this is done your screen should be OK.

Garmin c330

Try to calibrate the touch screen. Push and hold the power button on until you see a white dot on the screen. This is the calibration mode. Touch the dot and another dot will apppear, now touch this dot again, keep doing this until the unit reboot.

If you touch the 1st dot and nothing happens then the digitizer on the LCD is dead. If the unit is still under warranty, get a RMA and return it to Garmin.
