It sounds to me like the thermostat needs replaced. If what you hear clicking noise but the unit does not shut down that is probably the problem. Thank you.

Hello, i have an LG portable air conditioner Model number L1111WXRY1 The fan on it works fine but the condenser seems to keep shutting off every minute and stays off for a while, mind you thr fan still...

It seems like it's short cycling. The condensor motor runs when the compressor runs,
Probable cause, no airflow thru the condenser, low on refrigerant, wrong location of temperature sensor,

Furnace reaches temperature set then shuts down and restarts 8 times before final shutdown.

When you say the the furnace re-starts 8 times before shut down, what is cycling 8 times? just the indoor blower or is the main burner re-firing 8 times? If it's only the fan it sounds like the fan control.

GE Top Loading washer doesn't aggitate properly.Model # WJSR4160DW

Reach into the washer and try to turn the agitator by hand and if you can turn it freely the agitator coupling (sometimes called the air bell) is stripped out. If that isn't the problem let me know. Here is the part should you find it bad.

My air condition unite outside keeps going on and off.it works for about 30 seconds and then shuts off, to restart in about anothre 30seconds and this goes on and on. aooreciate any suggestion.

Is both the fan and compressor cycling?
If they are it sounds like the unit is cycling on a high or low pressure switch.
If it's cycling on the low pressure switch, it could be dirty indoor coil or filter, blower capacitor, blower not running or not running at the proper speed or you could be low on refrigerant.
If it's cycling on the high pressure switch then it could be a dirty condenser coil, outdoor fan capacitor or fan not running or not running at the proper speed or to much refrigerant (overcharged).
Unless you you know how to check these out, then you probably need to have it checked out by a HVAC service technician.

24 btu air conditioning unit. After two hours it stop working.

You should replace the return airflow sensor. Sounds like it is not cycling on temperature and therefore overheating the compressor. which will shut of on overload.

I just installed a Hunter five minute fan which says it is called the augusta. I have also installed several other hunter fans in my house through the years, and they seem to move extremely fast especially...

Speed is not a factor in moving air. You can move air with a little fan that runs real fast or you can move the same amount of air with a big fan that moves slow.

It is the pitch of the blades that moves air. Big blades with steep pitch moving slow are comparable to little blades with shallow pitch that move fast.

It seems to me someone is trying to baffel you with bull**** when they tell you CFM = watts or something similar.

The real question is, is the fan moving the air necessary to achieve the result you desire? If yes, speed is not really a factor.

Let me know if this helps you.
