Seriously for the psat few days, i've been trying to log in to facebook. but when i press the "welcome to facebook" page, it always says "sorry we're receiving a technical problem". i thought it might be happening to everyone. i asked my friends, did the same thing happen to them. some of them said yes and some said no! and i don't understand why is this happening. can anybody help me? i feel miserable without facebook. i only use skype for know. thank you.

Facebook apparently considers this a "low" priority.

have you tried clearing your cache and cookies in the browser or tried a different browser? i had a similar problem when i was in college and my friends always used my laptop and that did the trick.

Simplest solution is that change your facebook acount password then it will be fine.

Sometimes the problem is occur when there is problem in the Facebook Server or in Browser, I have also experienced that same problem sometimes, But you just don't need to be panic, First of all try this that Log out your account and try to Login from other browser, Like if you are using Microsoft Explorer then try to Log in from Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, Open Facebook in some other browser and Login your account there, I hope this problem will be solved but if you still face this problem then wait for some time, There is a problem in Facebook server, It will automatically solved after few time.

Try to reset your browser
go to Tools>Internet options>advance>reset

I've seen a few other people posting this problem, which is actually a good thing because it means it's probably facebook's problem, not yours. Make sure you are running the most current version of your web browser, and just wait it out!

This happened to a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago. First, I would suggest restarting the computer. My friend simply waited (it was a day) and the error went away. It seems to be an error on Facebook's side, since trying to login onto that account anywhere has the problem (another computer, phones, etc.). Sorry I couldn't give a definitive answer, but if in a day it's not back to normal, you can always contact Facebook directly at 650-543-4800 (granted this phone stinks what from I've heard, but it's better than nothing).
