Kodak all in one printer 5500

Mary, you can download the software from http://download.Kodak.com/digital/software/easyShare/v8_3_0/install_easyshare.exe

Press the SAVE button, find a place on your hard drive and save the file. Double click the install_easyshare.exe file and it will install the file. Follow the instructions below.

Installation Instructions

1. Verify that your computer meets the system requirements. NOTE: APPLE QUICKTIME Player is required for some software features. Visit APPLE to download the latest version of the QUICKTIME Player.
   
2. Disconnect all accessory devices from your computer (digital camera, camera dock, printer dock, photo printer, card reader, etc.).
3. Verify that you logged on to the computer using the administrator account.
4. Close all programs.
5. Download the software, then follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
6. To launch the software select Start > Programs > Kodak > Kodak EasyShare > Kodak Easyshare software.

IMPORTANT: If you have a large picture collection, allow a few minutes after your computer restarts before starting EASYSHARE Software. EASYSHARE Software windows appear after your previous picture catalog has been updated

After the installation are completed, reboot if not asked to do so. You can copy the install_easyshare.exe file to a CD for later installation if needed.

Software issue. Try a hard reset of printer or uninstall and reinstall the software of unit. in computer that is affected.
And if you continue to have issues with it contact the Kodak experts directly on their web site.

You need to remove the software completely to avaoid getting conflicts when installing back the software
Follow the basic steps

1) enable show hidden files and folder

2) delete C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kodak

3) delete C:\Program Files\Kodak

4) run clear again at www.kodak.com/go/clear

5) reinstall the software at www.kodak.com/go/downloads

It's probably an issue with the HomeCentre Software version you're using. Try downloading the latest version from www.kodak.com/go/drivers

go to your control panel and uninstall any printers including kodak then restart you computer, then try installing your kodak, Rob

when installing easyshare software

during install wizard > choose custom install >

change printer dock to "will not be installed" by clicking on the arrow on the right side

the installation should go thru since it will not install the Printer Dock drivers

Try calibrating and cleaning the printhead in the kodak aio home center software.
