of the high heat sensors has failed on one of the burners under the
glass. Disconnect one sensor at a time to find out which one, then
replace that burner assembly.

Hi, there is a switch on each burner control knob shaft. These switches wear out and are easy to replace once you remove the panel over the knob area. Each switch has 2 wires plugged into it and costs around 5 to 10 dollars. Any switch causes all burner electrodes to spark. Good luck,
if there is one light for all the switches, you will need to unplug the unit, take off the top part of the back panel to get access to your switches. the indicator light is run to all 4 switches. you will need to unplug the wire that goes to the indicator light from each switch ( only one at a time ) and plug the unit back in each time. do this for every switch until the light goes out. whichever switch has the indicator light wire removed from it when the light goes out is the switch that needs to be replaced. if your unit has an indicator light for each switch, then just replace the switch that is above the indicator light.
