Yes, your unit has an air filter, that should be removed and cleaned at least once every two weeks, while in operation, The filter is located behind the louvers on the front of the unit. To access and remove it, remove the water bucket and just inside the bucket holder at the top of the opening, you will see a tab type of handle. This handle is part of the filter frame. Pull that down and out and the filter will come with it. Back flush the filter with clear warm water. Dry it thoroughly, before reinstalling it in the unit. Never operate the dehumidifier without the filter installed.

Hello Winl, thank you for your inquiry!
I see that you are having issues with your clean filter light coming on in your Frigidaire dehumidifier. From what you are describing it sounds like a possible issue with a sensor within your dehumidifier. I would recommend consulting with your manufacturer to see if they can provide any additional assistance towards a resolution. Best of luck! -OOS
Hello Diane Weber, thank you for your inquiry!
I see that you have recently purchased a Frigidaire dehumidifier and the display is not working properly. When you returned the original appliance did they test it in store to see if it worked? Are you using any type of extension cord or surge protector on the appliance? With this additional information I can better assist you. -Matt
