If you remove the new video card the monitor works connected onboard? If YES, you have to change the settings in your bios or the video card is not compatible with your motherboard. If you remove the new video card the monitor works connected onboard?

That actually makes sense. Mine has been running fine at low power and restarts after really cranking it after a couple of minutes. I will probably go ahead and run a line to the battery as well. Thanks for commenting back, I appreciate it!
Could be many things. Let start with a couple of easy ones.1) Unplug charger from computer and outlet, take battery out press power for at least 30 sec. Plug every thing back power on. 2) charger bad won't turn on or charge battery, try diferent charger if don' know how to use a voltmeter. 3) power jack loose or broken. 4) last and worst mother board circuits transitors etc... btw processor, video card or input devices fried. Buy new board from ebay. Don,t fix it. Not worth it. This is Only if laptop gives completely sign of not turning at all. No lights, no hardrive or no working or fan. No signal of life. If couple of lights do turn on it can be the ram or video card, play with ram a bit. Good luck.
Hi, I don't have the manual with me. I found KLH R 5100 with user manual in the following link. Tray to contact them. OK http://www.ebay.com/itm/KLH-R-5100-Receiver-Hi-Power-/250902259353
TAKE THE BATTERY OUT AND LEAVE OUT... TRY TO TURN ON USING YOUR POWER ADAPTER...YOU EITHER HAVE A BAD BATTERY (MOST LIKELY) OR YOUR POWER ADAPTER IS BAD?
IF IT IS YOUR BATTERY...YOU CAN USE WITH JUST POWER ADAPTER...THE STORES ACTUALLY LEAVE THE BATTERIES OUT, SO THEY DON'T GO BAD!
IF IT IS YOUR POWER ADAPTER...YOU CAN PURCHASE ALOT CHEAPER THAN A BATTERY!

The power saving mode is engaged when no signal comes from the pc - the pc is either stopped (start it) or it's defective.
If you can't start the pc then you will have to dismantle it and test the components, starting with the video card. If you don't know how to do that then take it to a repair shop - don't make the problem bigger by messing around with it.
