There is no setup codes to any of the remote controls to work with any blu-ray players with its blu-ray zone.

Sounds like problem is with TV. Make sure the remote sensor on the TV is not blocked, it is located at the lower right part of the front of the TV.

I suspect it doesn't matter what REMOTE you use as the codes are for the TV/DVD/etc you are using.

THEREFORE for a Samsung TV try these.

0051, 0161, 0181, 0261, 0301, 1131, 1661, 2391, 2401, 2551, 2791, 3211.

SHOULD be one of them.

After searching the best known region hack databases I have found one process for your make and model. I can not assure you that it will work 100% but it's the only known process.

Turn on the Player with no disc on the tray. The tv screen and the dvd lcd will display "No Disk"

2. Press the "Repeat" key on the Samsung remote control

3. Press the keys: "5 7 5 3 8" on the remote. Number 2 appears on the screen for a short time.

4. Press "9". Number 9 is displayed on the screen.

5. Press the "Open/close" button in the remote. The tray will open. Leave it open for a few seconds.

6. Just press the "On/off" button in the remote.

7. You now have a multi-region dvd player!!

Hello Giancarlo, You'll have to use the projectors remote for T.V. tuning. I don't think the samsung DVD remote will operate your projector or your T.V. channels, will it? If it does, You just have to switch the input button on the remote to change between T.V. and Video. I hope that helps.

4. Prss the number for the region you want to use next ( 1 , 2 , etc). If you want your dvd player to be unlocked for all the regions press "9". A number should appear in the screen.

5. Press the "Open/close" button in the remote. The tray will open. Leave it open for a few seconds.

6. Just press the "On/off" button in the remote.

if the tv is a new tv along with remote take it back to the supplier it should still be on warrant.good luck

according to the info I have on that set theres a front panel control key theres also a lcd display?? as I see the picture you may have locked the set with this control key?? if this dosent work go online and look up samsung LTP179DW remote controls or contact samsung directly at www.samsung.com and go to customer assistance.
