My mad catz controller will not configure to my ps3.How can i do it wireless?

Sir good day there are two way on how to configure your wireless controller to your ps3 console.... the automatic pairing and a manual pairing

first way an automatic pairing

1.turn on your ps3..
2.Connect the smaller end of the included USB cable to the PS3 controller.
3.Connect the opposite end into either USB port on the front of the PS3.
The pair light on the PS3 will flash. When it stabilizes, you can disconnect the USB cable
and use the controller wirelessly.

second way a manual pairing

1.. turn your ps3..
2.Connect the smaller end of the included USB cable to the PS3 controller.
3.Connect the opposite end into either USB port on the front of the PS3. Press the "PS" button on the center of the PS3 controller. The pair light on the controller will flash. When it stabilizes, you can disconnect the USB cable and use the controller wirelessly.
