I have a 27''orion.It was raining,thundering 1 day last week and the T.V was on.All of a sudden the lights went out,and when they came back on,I cut the t.v back on and there was a white streak going across the screen,the volume still works you can hear the picture playing but the white line is all that there.

If you can drive it to Autozone,they will test your alternator for free,only takes a minute.Here's a link on how to remove your alternator.

When the battery went dead you engine control module lost all learned programming, drive it for a few weeks as normal to restore this and the mileage will be back to normal.

1.) Hold down the clear "TV" button on the remote for four seconds, then press 500 pound ( #)
2.) Hold down the clear "TV" button on the remote for four seconds, press the big power button once.
3.) Press the channel up button once per second until the TV turns off then press pound (#).

If this doesn't work and you have an LCD TV turn off the back light. As it is probably causing interference this is found in the TV menus.

Sometimes more than one button pushed [same time] on the tv itself can create an undesireable mode or setting. You may need an original remote to correct this. Contact Orion Sales at 1 800 289 0980

the fuse is doing its job when the fuse blow it stop the components being damaged. but in this case it sounds like component failer

the alarm is activating when he locks it and for some reason the key or fob isnt deactivating it..check the disarm switches in the door

Its busted. Try resetting it as a last resort, unplug the AC, wait 1 minute, then plug back in. If that doesn't work, its in need of professional service.

the speaker out let on back of speaker box went bad and burnt the circuits in the amp

If you've only had it for 3 weeks and it's under warranty, you need to send it to a warranty station.
If there is no warranty and you want to try to find/repair the problem yourself, let me know.

Is easy for them to say replace the main board,it will cost as much as a new tv or close,they say that because of the damage lighting or power surge causes and is unrepairable,some home owners insurance cover this damages and they just replace the equipment since is not worth repairing.You can call Sony just to see how much they want for a new board.Let Us know if you need any more information.
