How do I replace a spout O-ring on an American Standard Jasmine Hi-Flow Kitchen Faucet, 3821.831 or .834. I'm trying to get the spout assembly off to get access to replace. Thanks in advance!

Hi! If there are no leaks from around the spout, you can remove the spout and apply silicone lube to the spout o-rings and resemble. If it is still hard to move ,replace the o-rings.

How long have you had this? is everythign tight? check underneath the sink to ensure all connections are tight. The spout may have came loose, and it may not be able to be fixed, may need to be replaced.

there is a tiny grub screw at the back of the spout at low level.

If you have a payless cashways in your area they carry americanstd. faucets and plumbing fixtures.I think that some K-Mart and sears stores do also. Hope this helps you. Thanks

spout seal kit , from what you described.

at the spout near the base is an echeion ring. turn this counterclock wise then pull up ring to expose the neck,pull spout straight up.this echeion cap holds on the spout to the base there are plastic parts inside so be careful when pulling apart.

you need to replace the 0-rings in side the spout between the base and neck,

just pull straight up,wiggle back and forth,the o-rings are holding it on .

sometimes hard to see. Might be on the underside of the spout or on the back side of the part of the spout that it connected to the faucet. OR just compare to pictures on American Standard website
