I just had a Haus slimline dishwasher delivered and have tried to set it up. I have followed the instructions to the letter but the water inlet hose keeps leaking out water when you move the dishwasher into place after attaching the hoses. I have tried the manufacturer's hose they provided and two spare i have in my cupboard. I even went out and bought some 3/4" washers and added extra washers to the inlet hose, but it still leaks. What is wrong?

It is possible the dishwasher inlet is set for low water pressure.

Check the water pressure setting matches your inlet water pressure.
It might help if you provide the model number of the dishwasher.

Dishwasher will not fill with water

depending on the make and model of dishwasher the solution can vary. A good guess (assuming the inlet hose is connected and tap is turned on), is the water pressure setting may not be matching with your normal mains pressure. Check installation instructions for setting mains water pressure. Also some dishwashers like Bosch have special inlet hoses which detect water leakage and shut of the water inlet valve. Need to check if your dishwasher has got this feature and need to confirm the hose is correctly fitted.
More importantly check when you turn wash cycle on if you hear click of the inlet valve or not.

The dishwasher begins to start, then it stops, beeps and flashes the letters "IE" on the screen. We have tried every setting and it does the same thing.

Hello

The "IE" error code indicates a problem with the water inlet. The water supply valves are not turned on fully or the inlet hoses are kinked, clogged or frozen. Remove kinks in the hoses and remove clogs with a straightened coat hanger. If this does not resolve the problem, contact a service technician.

Water leaks out on the floor from the front left of the machine, not every time though. what's the most likely place to check? intake hose? drain hose? door edge?

Hello there:
If your dishwasher leaks, check these: Main tub seal Note... If the main motor of your dishwasher is mounted vertically, beneath the center bottom of the dishwasher, the following instructions probably apply to you. But if your motor is mounted horizontally, the pump isn't serviceable--you need to replace the entire pump and motor assembly. Lower rack Spray arm Spray arm support
Wash/drain impellers Then pry the seal out of its housing and replace it. Door gasket or seal Over time, door gaskets and seals harden and lose their ability to seal properly. You can't repair the seals. You need to replace them if they've begun to leak. Water-inlet valve The water-inlet valve, itself, seldom leaks. But, the water-supply line from the house and the rubber tube leading from the valve to the inside of the dishwasher may leak. Tighten or repair/replace these as necessary. The water-inlet valve could mechanically stick open. When that happens, the water continues to flow into the dishwasher, which then floods your kitchen. Turn off the water supply to the dishwasher, and replace the valve. Hoses Behind the lower access panel on your dishwasher are several rubber or plastic hoses. If the leak appears at a connection, try a new clamp. If that doesn't work, replace the hose.

Bosch SRS4302GB Replacement Inlet hose - which type?

it should have and is delivered with the narrow bore high pressure hose
if your water flow rate is high more than 20 ltrs p min you could get away with a standard low preessure hose

you can download the instruction manual from the bosch web site or from the bsh home appliances web site

Leaks from handle

If your dishwasher leaks, check these:Main tub seal
Door gasket or seal
Water-inlet valve
Hoses

Main tub seal
Note… If the main motor of your dishwasher is mounted vertically, beneath the center bottom of the dishwasher, the following instructions probably apply to you. But if your motor is mounted horizontally, the pump isn't serviceable--you need to replace the entire pump and motor assembly.

The main tub seal is beneath the drain impeller. It prevents the water in the dishwasher from leaking out near the shaft of the motor. To get to the seal, which is inside the dishwasher, remove the:

1. Lower rack
2. Spray arm
3. Spray arm support
4. Wash/drain impellers

Then pry the seal out of its housing and replace it.

Door gasket or seal
Over time, door gaskets and seals harden and lose their ability to seal properly. You can't repair the seals. You need to replace them if they've begun to leak.

Water-inlet valve
The water-inlet valve, itself, seldom leaks.

Hoses
Behind the lower access panel on your dishwasher are several rubber or plastic hoses. If the leak appears at a connection, try a new clamp. If that doesn't work, replace the hose.

Neff Dishwasher

Hallo Champer, 1)Be sure water supply is arriving with enough pressure. 2)If the hose between the crane and dishwasher has an aqua-stop ( or water-stop) which you recognize at the hose being enlarged twice the size close to the crane, possibly water supply can be blocked there. You can change it temporarily with a regular hose ( for garden or car-wash ...). If dishwasher is doing the job buy a new hose with Aqua-stop in a regular electro- household appliances shop. 3) If this solution is not the good one, you might check in fact to the inlet valve, which you find at the other side of the metal plate where the watersupply is flooding inside the diswasher. Generally a white coloured threaded plastic pipe. Unplug your dishwasher, close water supply (!) and disconnect the water hose. Open the dishwasher ( either top-plate and/or back-panel). Now you see the inlet-valve ; unscrew this one and mark the position of the 2 electrical wires, which you also unplug then. Also unplug the internal water drain, and ask again a regular shop (see 2) if they can check this valve and if necessary get a spare part. Oeffti, hopefully this helps else let know.
