My archos 101 tablet is frozen and none of the buttons work. I can't even turn it of or reset. What do I do?

make sure you have some PDF reader installed !! if it's already in your system then file format must be wrong or corrupted.

try for another files if problem presists then reply

To UNFREEZE your device you have to do like this:
# press and hold DOWN your POWER button for 10 seconds
# once the device is POWERED OFF recharge the battery COMPLETELY
# when battery is FULL restart your Archos 101.

And make sure your firmware is UPDATED!

Now your device should work properly!

Looks like you're sending back another one!
Don't muck with it, you could void the warranty!

Try this:
Power your Archos 101 off by holding the Power Button for 10 seconds (this fully shuts it down).
While holding the Volume + button power it back up (tap power button to start up, hold volume until the tablet enters recovery mode, you'll see a series of choices instead of the demo mode).
Choose the Format System option.
When this process is complete make sure not to select Demo Mode as Android boots and the Archos 101 gets up and running.

At this point you'll want to return or RMA the unit to Archos for repair/replacement. You can find information on how to do this on their homepage.
