Your cell phone may be locked to a particular cell phoneprovider and in this case it needs to be unlocked to use with a different cellphone service provider. I want to use a t mobile sim card in a motorola i855 boost phone

T-mobile uses GSM technology, whereas Boost Mobile's technology is IDEN. There is no way a T-mobile sim card will work inside a Boost Motorola i855 phone or any Boost phones for that matter and, of course, vice versa.

Need Boost SIM card to work in Nextel Motorola Buzz+ ic602 phone.

I called Boost support about the same issue and I was told that that particular phone and any other Ic series phone by motorola will not work with Boost Mobile. There was also a few other phones that will not work. Try calling thier support line and requesting the list of phones that won't work. Good luck.
