The best solution I can recommend is to reset your cellphone into original factory setting. It happens most of the time due to regular use.. like downloading and uploading different contents from your cellphone.

i'm not exactly sure what's going on. i'm guessing its something to do with available memory (the system might kill off background processes when memory is low which could be happening to the system sms app). no idea why razr maxx would have this issue though as it's a new device
sounds more like a sms settings problem, try checking the service center number is correct for your sms. or you could contact your network provider and get them to send you the settings for it. hope this helps
contact ur sim operator and ask them to send the MMS settings after receiving the same install the settings and restart ur cell. after dat mms will appeared in sms inbox, just open the same as u open ur text sms.
touch the START menu on the top left of your screen, touch on MESSAGING, select SMS/MMS account by touching, that will take you to your inbox. then just touch the MENU on bottom right of screen and select NEW... then touch SMS. It will ask you to add contact 1st. then touch screen where text goes till curser appears then type either by keyboard buttons or middle bottom of screen if you touch a electronic version of keyboard will appear you can use stylis to type on screen keyboard. Then bottom left of screen hit SEND. message sent message will come on screen when msg sent.... Goodluck
It seems your message box is full. delete all the messages from sent box first to clear some memory. Then try to see if you can get the unread messages.

The SMS network is a mobile network that is not directly connected to the internet thefore a modom can not actuly sent an sms messages is the clink, some websites actuly can sent sms messages this is done by using a mobile phone connected by a data cable and some very heavy software.
The best thing you can do is use an internet site to sent text messages
