Plantronics Explorer 390 Bluetooth Headset Logo

Have trouble turning off my Plantronics Explorer 395 blue tooth. Usually when I slide the on/off switch to off, the blue light stays on and doesn't turn off or flash or anything. I usually have to turn it on and off again a few times until the red light flashes and then it finally goes off. I've been stuck many times with a dead battery because I didn't always make sure it went off when I turned it off, I just assumed. What's the problem?

I bought the damn set only a week ago and now I have the same problem. When I switch the set off, it first lights red, but a few seconds later the red light turns to a constant blue and although the switch is at off position, my blackberry is still connected to the set, I can still use the volume button and still hear the 'beeps', which means the thing is still on. Planning to apply for warranty in a few days or demand a refund. Either way the set is totally garbage... Greetings from Turkey.

My blue tooth - plantronics explorer 232 has a constant blue light. I can't get it to turn on or off. Please help.

Try letting the battery go completely dead on the headset and then recharge it. This should fix the problem.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

How do you reset the device?

first you must put the blue tooth device in pairing mode, most blue tooth device manufactures use the power button for this ,by holding the power button down for 6 to 10 seconds when turning the device on it usually puts it into discovery mode,a solid light might stay on ,then you have to enter a pairing or pin code. Now most manufactures of blue tooth devices use a 4 digit factory pin pairing code they are asw follows 0000,.1234,9999,or 1111 i hope this helps

I have a droid x and a friend gave me an plantronics explorer 240 cause she had gotten another one. I thanked her not thinking to ask how it worked like what buttons was what and how to connect it to my...

First of all, go into Settings and then Wireless & Network settings on your Droid X, then push Turn on Bluetooth. The check mark in the box should be green once its on. Then click Bluetooth Settings. Meanwhile, turn on your headset by sliding the power switch towards the microphone. The light should flash blue and red. Now go back to your phone and push Scan for Devices, at which point you should see something like "XXXPlantronicsHeadsetXXX". Push that, and it should work. IF it asks you for a passcode, its 0000. I am having problems connecting my plantronics explorer 390 to my black berry curve

First turn your Blue Tooth setting to "ON" on your Black Berry Curve, as it searches for a Blue Tooth Device, Push and hold on the middle button of the Blue Tooth until you see a flashing "blue light & red light." It's important that you see both flashing lights.
