Oven why does my electric kenmore oven keep beeping and flash f2? Kenmore electric oven Model 278 4088893
I have the same problem with my model 41055/41059 Sears self cleaning oven. I use the self clean cycle and when the cycle has finished ,the oven begins to beep and the oven display flashes F2. Pressing the Clear/Off button does not stop the beeping or the F2 flasing. I can only get it to stop by turning the power off with the circuit breaker to the oven.
I used the self cleaning mode for 2 hours and the error f2 keeps flashing and beeping, I did try to power off with the breaker and left it off for about a half hour and it still continues to beep and flash f2, what should I do?

Over-temp condition due to either oven temperature sensor or ERC (electronic range control).
Testing should be done by a qualified tech to prevent risks to user.
i think f3 error code has something to do with the temp probe maybe it is the problem. the temp probe is located if you open the door directly in the back wall. it looks like a prong. should read 1100ohms the f2 error code though usually has something to do with the keypad i would check all the connections maybe they are loose.
My oven will not stay on, when started to preheat it will come on for a few seconds and they it will make a beeping noise and the codes E0 F2 will appear. The codes stay on even if the oven is off.
The bang may have been an element arcing over. Turn off the power and remove the element. If it shows any form of damage, replace it. If you're not sure, use a continuity checker to check it. If you have two elements...do this for both. You will likely find the problem.
