My toshiba 50hpx95 has a steady blinking red light, it has no pauses or breaks to recite a code, just steady blinking. I had it in the shop and they said the power board needed replaced, so i replaced it and still get the same code. Is there a trap reset, or other mode of reset that i am not finding in the "service" manual, or was the problem misdiagnosed by my repairman. I cant even do a boot via service code thru the remote. is there a way to do a soft boot under low voltage so the chip can give me a diagnoisis of which board is the culprit? No hanging or bulging caps... everything looks good.

This tv have a Tuner signal board it is also dead too,this problems happen sometimes,the power supply board dies,but sometimes the Tuner signal board take power surges from the power supply board itself than kiill the tv Tuner signal board too.Try website like Ebay.com to buy a refurbish tv Tuner signal board for the replacement.Fixed this problems,many times before.Blinking power LED light.First replaced the power supply board,than didn't solved the problems,than the tv Tuner signal board it is also dies too.

I'm no TV expert, but I can share what little knowledge I have, specially what I went through with my plasma TV. It happen in mine, and I got the Y Board fix. When mine was blinking, there was no power, but it wasn't the power board, so searching for an answer in the internet, I found out that it could be one of the boards (Y board or Z board) In my case was the Y board, so I took it to a professional and he fix it for me. My TZ61V61 rear projection 60 inch television turns off randomly. The red light by the on/off switch blinks. Sometimes the TV will still work though.
The blinking red light is telling you the code. Watch how many times it blinks. when it pauses for a seccond, watch again. Write down the number of times between each pause. Then repost with that info and I might be able to figure out what is wrong. Hopefully before it is permanent.

Is the red flashing light on evaporator circuit board normal.
some units just shine steady others steady blink as normal,,the trick is does it blink a number of times then pause this indicates a code. some will display multiple codes at one time, generally there is a sticker on the access panel inside or out with a listing of codes. thank you and hope this answers your question, most units have safety proticalls to prevent the unit from working under dangerous conditions

My toshiba 50hpx95 plasma tv makes just a clicking noise from the relays on the power supply but nothing else wont power on and no lights flashing
A common problem with modern power supplies is dryed out capacitors in the power supply, This pulls down the voltage and shuts down the tv. The can usually be spotted if you know what to look for (they swell up and deform a little). It is not a job for the novice. But capacitors are cheap.
Try a local tv shop for estimate

Flashing red light on ice maker control
Hi

I have Kitchen Aide refrig. Resently, we had a power surge which seems to have done something to the ice maker control. immediately after it stopped making ice. It has since started to make ice but very slowly. Before the controller blinking red light blinked and paused steady. Now, it blinks two red and pause steady. Is this repairable?

How to bypass seine card? 50hpx95
Turn off set, unplug power. Remove back cover. On brown circuit board left of center, unplug connector PJ63A. Plug in power, but don't electrocute yourself! If you no longer get the continuously blinking red light, hit the power button. If it comes on, the SEINE module is bad and must be replaced.

Bypass the SEINE module if you know how. If you use off air HD you will have to get a new module.

How much electronic or solid state repair experience do you have. Can you read a schematic and follow circuit flow from one circuit to another? Do you know how to use a multimeter?
