I have the rca Visys Model # 25424re1-a with a handset with it.
I'm having problems if I am talking on line two on the handset and line 1 Starts to ring. we can't pick up line one from the main phone.
Is there a setting on it that I need to change or what?

Unplug phone that has crosstalk problem.Replace with a good phone.If trouble disappears then trouble is the replaced phone.If trouble is still there,then it is wiring problem.
SOURCE: RCA ViSYS phone says "replace battery" but it doesn't have one
There is a battery box that holds 4 AAA batteries. It's down under. Not easy tospot but it's there. However, I added fresh batteries and it stil says replace battery. I'd like ot know how to turn off the message.

To enable your Answering System, press and hold the "ans sys" button for 2 seconds.
The "ans sys" button indicator will flash.
To disable your Answering System, press and hold the same button for 2 seconds.
The "ans sys" button indicator will go off.
