You phone has it's screen rotation locked so if you turn the phone on it's side the display does not automatically turn, great for reading in bed. Double clicking your home button so that currently running apps are shown then keep swiping these icons to the right until your iPod controls appear, you should see an icon with a circular arrow. Click this.

1. Double click the home button to bring up the multitasking bar.
2. Swipe right until the last set of icons is displayed in the multitasking bar (these will include play/pause and skip buttons for iPod or Pandora).
3. The furthest left icon looks like a circular arrow - touch this icon to enable or disable rotation lock on the iPhone.
4. A rotation lock icon will appear in the status bar next to the battery charge icon when rotation lock is enabled. This looks like a circular arrow around a padlock.

Why won't my Iphone 5 wont turn sideways
This is because you've got the screen rotation lock on
To turn it on or off, do the following:
  1. In iOS 7 or higher, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal Control center. (In iOS 6 or lower, double tap the home button on the front of the iPhone or iPod touch. This will reveal the fast app switcher row of apps at the bottom of the screen)
  2. In iOS 7, tap the lock-and-curved-arrow icon. If it is white, it's on; black and it's off
  3. In iOS 6 or earlier, swipe left to right to reveal the Music app, music player controls, and on the far left, an app with a curved arrow in it (if the lock is turned on, you'll see the lock inside the arrow)
  4. To turn screen rotation lock on, tap the curved arrow icon so that the lock appears
  5. To turn screen rotation lock off, tap the icon so that the lock disappears
  6. When you're done in either version of the iOS, single tap the home button and you'll be returned to normal operation of your device.

I found a new icon on the top of my Iphone 3g the icon is u shape arrow with lock beside the time display what is that and i can i remove it
It means that when you turn your phone, the screen is locked from rotating with it. To change this, Press home twice quickly, slide left & then press the icon with the lock in the middle of the circular arrow.

Icons on the home page
Tap the white-on-blue up-arrow near the lower-left corer of the screen, then drag the unwanted icons to the icon bar at the bottom of the screen. When done, tap the white-on-blue down-arrow at the upper-left corner.

Bear in mind that not all icons can be removed from the home screen.

Ipod screen does not turn sideways
You may have locked the orientation, double click on your home button to get the last four applications used when you see these icons pull your finger to the right on the icons and you will see an icon with a round arrow with a lock in the middle of it, click on this icon and it will unlock your orientation. Hope this helps.

My iphone has a lock icon on the top view screen and I want to know how to make it unlocked. I tried restarting it and it's still locked.
two options.

** you have a passcode to log in to your iPhone, you will need to cancel that, go to setting, general, passcode lock, and just turn it off, that will make the icon disappear.

**if it's iPhone 3GS / 4 with version 4.0 and up, and the lock icon you have is with a round arrow, that mean that you locked your iPhone rotation from regular view to wide view, to unlock it you will need to press your home button twice till you see the quick navigation menu, scroll all the way to the start (you will see the play and volume option) there you will see the icon just press it once, and it will make the icon disappear, and will unlock the rotation.

Hope one of them will solve your issue, if not I'll need more specifics, about your iPhone (model, version...) and an accurate description of the icon

ok , what you do is you pry off the bottons on the front, then there should be a screw. unscrew it. then youll see the screen thing. there will be two metel circals, one of them is probably dusty, just wipe it off and put every thing back together, the buttons just snap back on.

How do i delete pictures
DSC S700 Sony Camera:
To delete ALL pictures from the drive:

Click on menu.
Setup will appear near bottom of screen.
Using Joy stick (Round control on right of display screen)…..press right side arrow.
Several options appear. First..top…icon is a camera.
Click the bottom arrow on round control down one notch.
Format will be at the top of the screen now.
The yellow highlight will be on Create Rec. Folder.
Disregard this and click the right arrow on round control to the right one click.
Now …Format is highlighted.
Click one more time to the right….This opens up two options: Ok on the top and cancel on the bottom.
Highlight ok and press the center button on the round control. You will now be asked if you want to erase all the data on the memory stick. Click ok if you want to delete all.

For the four silver round buttons: The top right corner of your Eclipse keyboard features a set of controls for changing your computer?s audio volume and the brightness of the Eclipse Keyboard?s backlighting. To reduce audio volume, press button A until the desired volume level is reached. To increase volume, press button B. To mute the audio output, press button C and press it again to cancel mute. Press button D to control the brightness of the backlighting. Press the button to scroll through lights off, lights full brightness and lights half brightness.
