Honda recommend the oil is changed after 1000km and every 4000 km after that. I hear a lot of comments about changing the oil every 1000km by 'the local mechanic'.
I entrust my servicing to the Honda main dealer so I get the recommended lubricants and not not some recycled oil from someone elses oil change.

Optimum km range for changing oil in any bike should be 1000km or 6 months which ever comes first. The oil in a motor is designed not only for lubrication but also to keep the engine clean, if you leave oil in a motor for too long than you are lubricating your motor with dirty oil, oil also loses its viscosity to lubricate and that is why there is a time span. Both oil companies along with manufacturers have increased there oil change (servicing) intervals to some silly kilometre and time spams, sometimes common sense prevails. Use a good quality oil, no need to buy the top of the range and maintain your bike

I Have brought the Honda unicorn in 2005, Every time i do servicing it will work fine for 15 to 20 days and it will burn engine oil. I have tried to repair it as much as i can but now its like a scrap...

if your burning oil its definitely the piston rings, but it advisable to change the whole thing. i.e the entire engine assembly if you reside in Mumbai try calling the Thane Honda service stations their numbers are on the Honda motorcycles website they would normally have the parts. Honda like every other bike manufacture **** in after sale service. that's really sad.

Oil change

Ideally you should change the oil every 2000 km. Timely change of oil is vital for all 4 stroke engines. As a simple test after 2000 km touch the oil and feel the viscosity you will note the oil is no longer viscous and feels like water. Under extreme heat oil loses its viscosity faster. If you change oil at 2000 km regularly you will observe that your mileage and drive performance improves.
