My g1 gets to the screen where it flashes android 7 times. on the seventh time it always freezes is there any way to fix this

It actually is an awesome phone. Here is what I suggest:
Differently WinMo 6.5 won't do, I suggest either using Windows Phone 7 or Google Android. I personally prefer Android. There is a great site that will help you in getting Android or Windows Phone 7 on your HD2: http://www.xda-developers.com/
Just be weary that there is always risking when modifying your mobile. You will your warranty if you have one but in my opinion you will love the Android experience on your mobile.

The pin is not the same for every phone.

1) You'll need to buy the unlock code (I recommend you to buy it in ebay).

2) They'll request some information about your phone.

3) They'll send your the unlock code for your phone after your provide them with the information they'll request.

Turned my g1 telephone off and went to put it on again the android loads then the screen goes blank.

It may mean that your Android need to be re-flashed with the update that you have on your SD card. While your phone is off hold the HOME and THE POWER button at the same time to enter recovery mode. Once you see a triangle with a memory chip under it open your keyboard up and press ALT+L, once here you will see options to wipe phone ALT+W and then ALT-S to re-flash the phone again. This should bring your phone back for you so it will boot up, the only thing is that it will lose what you had on the phone as apps, but those are easily download-able again.

You should update the 'System' on your phone.
Go to Settings>About Phone
Select 'System Updates' to get your system up to date. This should get you going with Android Market.
You will need some internet connection for this.

Currently Adobe Flash player is NOT available for the G1. However I believe they have stated they will be releasing one, but with no time frame. Since the Android OS is open source, give it some time and it will be available. 

Ironicly T-mobile is using flash for their page of the G1.

If you Unlock the phone for use with any sim card you will still have access to the android market regardless of the sim card you use
