Everything was fine, put it in park, about 20sec later the engine just stopped. No misses, no surges, nothing. will not re-start.

Its hard to say for sure .It could be a feak thing that something went when you shifted it into park .
But the last thing was to shift to park .Their is a switch you could check on the side of the transmission called the interlock switch its directly hooked to the shift coloum and it moves everytime you move the level.Tells the computer what mode the transmission is in .
Try moveing the lever aroud play with it a bit .The switch is located on the drivers side of the trany towards the front of the trany mess with the electrical connecter to it wiggle it around see what happens .It may start if it dose replace the switch .If it dosn't start it may still be the problem .
I know this because I also have an S10 and have had similar problems with mine
PS its a pain to replace but not hard to get at .

My 2005 neon wont shift

This could because by a linkage problem or a problem with the key switch lock mechisinem .Or possabaly a part on the side of the transmission called an inter lock switch that has to move everytime the shifter is moved if its jamed you can't shift . It could also be the transmission but if you where not haveing problems shifting prioer to it not shifting then i don't think the tranny is bad . One of these 3 things is likely binding

Jimmy idles fine but shuts off when put into gear

Iwould look at a switch mounted on the side of the transmissiom called the interlock switch. Its on the drivers side and tells the VCM what mode the shifter is in and moves everytime the transmission is shifted so it is a ware part. Seeing that it runs in park and when shifted to a drive mode it dosn't It would be the first thing on my list to check can't say for sure with out looking at it but its vary likely

Abs light comes on when i put car in gear

You likely have a bad ABS sensor. Your local auto parts store will have a code reader to give you specifics and most of them don't charge because they want to sell you the part. Usually the way this goes is one or more sensors does not see anything moving. There are sensors on the wheels that count the teeth on the hub as it turns. This counting of the teeth will tell the ABS computer how fast that wheel is going. When one wheel does not match the other wheel, that sends a warning to the ABS computer telling it that one wheel is not moving when in fact it is. IF a wheel sensor is out, this entails replacing the hub (wheel bearing assembly with sensor built in).

The needle is entering the machine far to the left. The needle is in correctly and the bobbin plate has not shifted. It appears that the device holding the needle from above has shifted (it shifts easily...

Is your needle position selector stuck? Try moving the dial back and forth a few times. Have your oiled your machine lately? You manual is available on Singerco.com and is free to download. Good luck

Vehicle stuck in park will not change gears. Will start fine

does the gear shifter move? if the gear shifter moves and it wont shift then you have broken linkage, if it wont move you may have ignition linkage problems or the button may not be pushing in all the way, also the brake pedal is tied in too

Clucth not disengauging....

try this.you have 2 shifter cables.one is select cable the other is shift cable.first put the transmission selector lever in neutral.then move transmission shift lever to 4th gear.depress clutch to if necessary to shift.move the shift lever to the 4th gear position until contacts stop.then you turn the adjuster turn buckle so the shift cable eye aligns with the eye in the gear shift lever.when installing the cable eye. make sure the flange side of plastic bushing at the shift cable end is on the cotter pin side.the cables should be adjusted so the clearance between the shift lever and both stoppers are equal when the shift lever is moved to 3rd and 4th gear. move the shift lever to each position and check that the shifting is smooth.

Can't shift

You probably burnt the clutch up.
A good indicator is hard to get into 1st with out grinding as well as reverse, and over all poor ability to shift in any gear.

air in the slave cylinder is more then likely not your problem.
Its pretty hard to do.

8 GB CF card has made the camera lose the Raw function even when I return old 1GB CF card still the same... any ideas?

1st, make sure the camera is in the Creative zone P, TV, AV, M or A-Dep. I have made this mistake many time and everytime I forget I moved the dial.

If dial is in the Creative Zone and still no RAW option then have the camera format the card, if that doesn't work do the following:

Turn off camera,
Remove lens,
Put on body cap.
Remove CF Card
Remove Battery
Let sit for about 30 minutes.
Put battery back in.
Put CF Card back in
Turn camera on
Put camera in Creative Zone
Push Menu button
Push Set button twice and check if RAW is now an option

If not then you can try the clear all settings function in the Set-Up 2 menu. Push the menu button then the left arrow button arrow down to the clear settings line push set the clear all functions.

If this doesn't help then I would say carry it to your nearest Canon Dealer that offers cleaning and service.

Memory card error/card locked

It sounds like your card is locked. You need to unlock it. On one of the sides you should see a piece that can move back and forth. Move it from the position it is now to the other side. This should unlock your card. When locked the files are unaccessible to anyone. This also means that files on the SD card cannot be deleted while the switch is in lock position. When the switch is in up-position, then all files located on the card are accessible to anyone, and that files may be deleted from the card.

Good Luck.
