Basket for utensils

I have a 3 piece plastic basket for the utensils from my Bosch dishwasher. I love my dishwasher, but the basket and 2 flip covers fell apart, I've been fiddling around how to fix the 3 piece plastic basket. We are selling our home and I'm hoping to sell it with everything in original condition

There are a number of parts houses on the web which will gladly sell you the item you need, depending on your location. Repairclinic in the US has these items. Bosch probably sells them direct.

Plastic shavings on my wet clothes in a Bosch Nexxt 500 plus washer.

It could be that the basket is loose. If you hear a loud noise like metal to metal you have a loose bearing causing the basket to shake and the basket edge touching the plastic tub and shred it you see plastic pieces on clothing

My Maytag stainless steel dishwasher utensil basket has 2 holes in it. I would like to buy a new one. Can you help me ?

Try either SearsPartsDirect.com or RepairClinic.com. Provide them with your dishwasher model number. Once you get the part number for the utensil basket, then you can go to eBay and usually find one cheaper!

After the wash, the water still remain in the basket.

IF you still have water standing in your dishwasher after it's done running you most likely have a damaged pump. This is quite common and is usually caused by a piece of a broken dish/glass or a small utensil getting down into the pump and breaking the fins on the empeller. This is a fairly envolved repair that requires taking apart the pump in order to repair it.

Bosch dishwasher wont drain. At end of cycle is full of cloudy water.

It is possible if you have broken a glass recently that the piece of glass has made its way to the drain pump impeller. You need to remove bottom basket. Remove the filter strainer clamp by rotating CCW. There may be another round filter under the strainer (depending on model). Then with a torque screwdriver remove one screw which holds the plastic pump cover on. Remove the pump cover and pay close attention to the pump impeller. Does it rotate by finger movement? If not it could be jamed with a piece of broken glass. You must remove any obstruction to allow the impeller to turn. I usually force a paper towel piece (half piece while rotating the impeller by finger to allow the paper towel to bring up any obstruction below the impeller) Reassemble the cover and filters carefully and make sure the final strainer clamp aligns correctly with its marks. This insures nothing will make its way to the impeller in future.

Kenmore Elite ultra wash dishwasher

When it is off, reach down around the base of the spray assy and run your fingers around the entire circular base where junk can get caught. I've found broken glass and plastic utensils. Why do some of us wash disposable utensils? Huh? You may find something like a piece of plastic, glass, or the like that is making the noise. Be careful not to cut yourself.

If this buzzying sound is not coming from the tub, and is actually below the tub and in front right side, it is most likely the electrical relay switch ( which can make that sound when it is straining or failing).

Dump the Kenmore on the seller's doorstep - when the place is full of customers!!
