Had this ryobi drill about a year and a half. bought new and paid $130 all the original parts the charger the two batteries and the drill. but now when i try to charge the batteries it shows the thing to be charging and green light shows up quickly to indicate full charge. but no power, even if i leave it on the charger longer but still no power. drill is only used at home and well taken cared of. no dropping or any other way to damage the whole set up. what is the problem is it the charger, the drill itself or the batteries? P103 is the battery 18 V

The battery has failed. Whether the battery can be reconditioned is not the question. The battery charger is condemning the battery when it does this. There are some battery fixes on you tube where a second battery can be used to get the dead battery off the zero voltage or low voltage limit that the charger is seeing. My response that the battery has failed is based on the charger symptoms and not on whether the battery can be reconditioned.
Receipt will do nothing for you if it is out of warranty. Normal warranty is for three years.
Write to the company regarding your situation - see if your unit has a serial number that can give indication of age of unit. Perhaps they will replace the charger for you.
Make sure that the charger cord/connections are good and that unit is receiving power from wall.
hello don... check to be sure that the tools are 18 volt and not 12 volt. If they are 18v then go to this website to contact ryobi directly https://register.ryobitools.com/contact_us/new
I checked a couple sites and would suggest calling RYOBI parts supplier at 1-877-545-4099 to ensure that you get the correct charger. They might ask you what the model nnumber and the voltage and type of battery so have these numbers handy. Let me know if you need more assistance.
That is true the One+ 18V Li-Ion battery packs will work in any One+ 18V Ryobi tool. However the Lithium ion batteries will not charge in the original P110 NiCd charger. You will need one of the the new series Ryobi One+ 18V "dual chemistry" chargers for that. The will charge both types of battery packs.
After 8 years its possible you have some corrosion or bad contact on drill, takeing it apart an checking inside may be to much for you,but make sure all contact are clean on outside.
