Hi. Just need to know if the oven door is adjustable on our AEG double oven cooker? The bottom oven seems to 'leak' hot air slightly from the top right hand corner and when you press on the same point the fan inside is noticably quieter so any advice on adjusting the fit of the door would be gratefully received! Thanks

Hi there is no adjustment. to fix it you will need to change both hinges on the door. Some models have a roller which may need changing (on the oven frame where the hinges are located)if the door is creaking when opened or closed. wherever you go for parts you wil need the model and product no from the oven located around the door area.

Oven doesn't seem to heat up enough

There is a cooling fan In a STOVES 720 to keep the fabric of the oven cool. If this fails the overheat thermostats will cut in and shut the heating elements off. The cooling fan does in fact blow air out of various places in and around the doors. The top oven has a small element and takes a long time to warm up. If you are not confident that the thermostats are working correctly, then I suggest you purchase an oven thermometer from someone like Lakeland and see how that relate to what you are actually setting on the cooker dial. As I said the top oven leave a lot to be desired!

Hi. Just need to know if the oven door is adjustable on our AEG electric double oven cooker? The bottom oven seems to 'leak' hot air slightly from the top right hand corner and when you press on the same...

there will be a slight adjustment that can be done if you undo any screws or bolts holding the door , no need to take them completely out but just enough to re position the door , make sure there are no hinges that are bent .

How do i replace the element in the bottom oven of an AEG U3100-4 cooker ?

If it is a fan assisted oven, remove the screws securing the rear cover inside the oven compartment, remove cover, and you should see the oven element there.
Undo the element, and fit new one.

My bottom element is not getting hot at all. There is power going in the back on both sides of the element when i check with a tester.thanks

Hello,
If you hold the probes of meter to both connections I take it you are getting full voltage across them,if this is correct, then power off the cooker, now take the wires off the element, now set your meter to Ohms and check across terminals of element and see if there is resistance. If not then the element has blown and needs replacing.

Hope this was helpful.

The oven doors won't close and hot air is blowing out of the lower oven under the bottom of the door

Could be weak door hinge springs, there is no adjustment provided, normally only solution is to replace the door hinges
