Sounds like the solenoid is binding against the inside of the coil. Did you look underneath to see if some crud got in there?

Where are you getting your power? If you are taking power from the track, it may not be enough to power the gate. The gate should be powered through a fixed voltage accessory supply.

While making left turns the reargate dome lite goes on and off. Also the door ajar dash light goes on at the same time. this only happens while turning left. how can I fix this.

I assume the ajar light comes on if you open the rear gate? Try to duplicate the problem with the car running and parked, and you pulling on the gate. Sounds like the door or close switch needs adjustment.

Rav4 2003 door ajar indicator light goes off while taking left turn. also gate dome light turns on at the same time. what could be the cause and solution for this

This same question I just answered somewhere here. Sounds like the switch on the gate is losing connection or needs adjusted. Try to tug on the gate while car is parked and running and see if you can get it to happen.

The gate stays down when the power to the train is on

The breaks should be on one of the outside tracks along with a wire to the gate and the ground wire from the transformer is attached to the other outside track. Power wire is attached to the center track and the power terminal on the crossing gate. When the train passes the break the metal wheels connect the ground rail to the rail with the break that is wired to the gate. This completes the circuit and the gate goes down. Once the train passes the other break the connection is lost and the gate goes up.

Dual gate Hurst shifter adjustment

Hello! Here is what I was able to track down:

Hurst Dual Gate Shifter Assembly Parts Breakdown:

c73f4fe.gif

Removing & Replacing The Hurst Dual/Gate
1. Disconnect car battery.

2. Remove Knob. Remove four Phillips head screws that hold escutcheon plate down to console.
NOTE: SHORT SCREW IS USED IN REAR RIGHT - HAND HOLE. Remove escutcheon plate and console from floor tunnel.

3. Lift selector indicator lamp housing out of shifter and pull bulb socket out of lamp housing. Disconnect wire connectors from combination Back - up light / Neutral safety switch.

4. Remove two 1/4 - 20 x 1/2 hex-head cap screws that fasten Dual / Gate shifter to rear mounting bracket. Remove 1/4 - 20 x 1/2 hex - head cap screw that holds cable bracket to shifter frame. Remove two #10 - 32 x 3/8 slotted head cap screws that fasten Dual / Gate shifter to front bracket. Free shifter from cable by removing cotter pin and washer.

5. Remove combination Neutral - safety / and Back - up light switch. Install switch on Replacement unit.

6. Install replacement shifter unit in reverse order of removal of original unit.

7. ADJUST CABLE: SEE FIGURE 1 (Below)
Loosen nut that fastens cable pin to transmission control arm. Loosen nut enough to allow pin to slide in the slot in the arm. Turn the arm to NEUTRAL position. Move the stick to NEUTRAL. Tighten the adjusting nut. Test movement of stick and check to be sure that stick positions agree with transmission control operation.

8. SEE FIGURE 2 (Below)
Connect car battery. Apply hand brake. Move stick to NEUTR AL position. Press foot on brake pedal. Start engine. If starter fails to operate, Neutral Safety switch must be adjusted. Adjustment is made with a long-bladed Phillips screwdriver through the "Street" gate. This screw is directly in front of the st ick. Turn the screw about 1/2 turn past the point where starter operates. (STICK MUST REMAIN IN "NEUTRAL" WHILE ADJUSTMENT IS MADE). Starter should operate ONLY when stick is in PARK or NEUTRAL position.

I have a 2007 yukon and the lift gate goes up about half way and returns to the closed position. What is going on?

try removing your shocks/struts for the lift gate. once removed, check to see if they fully extend in and out of the barrel. You may have bent shocks/struts. Also, check to see there is nothing preventing the lift-gate from opening such as a bolt or acorns between the spoiler and the roof...

A 200 mixer. the bowl lifting lever hits the bowl and guard.

If it hits the bowl its been dumped on the side and bent it. I have done this on sight I get a mapp torch and use a pipe wrench large one and heat it up at the bend where it goes in side and bend it out. or you can buy a new one take the head off four bolts under head and one roll pin inside easy to see and replace arm. The bending is quick and cheap. it will work like new be sure and clean and luber slides wd where it goes in neck.
