It looks like your loud speaker is burnt off/set to off or anything problematic related to your loud speaker. I'd suggest you to get it repaired by a skilled personnel
This would be a mic not a spear my friend you need to have this replaced or ship the phone back to the carrier for a replacment I do know most carriers have this insurence and you must have it if you have a g1 at least I would. This sounds like another Tmobile phone gone bad and it would be in your best interest to have it replaced. You als may want to check and see if you did not mute the mic accidently.
All of a sudden, while on a phone call using my g1, the in-call sound stopped working and now only works when on speaker. Can someone please help me with this?
