SOURCE: does not pick up

Hi There,

It may be that your belt is broken, or stretched out. This will cause the brushes to slow down dramatically when vacuuming the carpets. When the belt stretches, this causes the machine not to pick up on the carpets, and makes it seem that the vacuum is loosing suction.

In order to test this, turn the vacuum on it's side while it's on. Are the brushes spinning? If they aren't, this is because your belt is broken. If the brushes are spinning, the belt still may be stretched. Listen to the brushes as you put them onto the carpet. Can you hear a change in the sound like the brushes are slowing down? If you put just a little pressure on the top of the vacuum by stepping on it, do the brushes stop then?

It may also be the filter is clogged in the machine and needs to be replaced. Bagless vacuums use a HEPA filter in the dirt cup instead of a bag. With a bagged vacuum you just replace the bag when it gets full, but on a bagless vacuum the HEPA filter continually gets debris and fine dust accumulating on it, and needs to be cleaned, and replaced occasionally.

Here's a link to the owners manual for your vacuum. This will explain step by step on how to replace the belt, as well as servicing the filter.

SOURCE: Just got white E-Z sew

The thread should be going counter clockwise. You probably have to pullabout 3 inches of thread out of the bobbin to be safe, and pull that up overthe plate and drape to the left. Then pull about 5or 6 inches of thread outfrom the needle. Try holding that thread somewhat taught and lower your needleup and down with your side dial and see if it finally loops the bobbin thread. Hope this works.

Need to clean cuisinart 12 cup coffee on demand coffe pot. How do I clean?

Do you have the DCC-2000?

To delime a multi-cup coffee maker, mix white vinegar with water (1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water) and fill the water reservoir completely. Then turn the coffee maker on. Wait until the unit completes the "brewing" cycle and beeps 5 times. Turn off the coffee maker. Discard the liquid after the cycle. Then fill the reservoir with clean water and turn on again. When this cycle completes, again discard the liquid. Repeat the water rinse if you notice an odd taste to the coffee afterwards. (If the coffee maker still has deposits, repeat the vinegar cleaning cycle and rinse cycles.) There are commercial deliming products, mix them with water following the package directions.

The manual for the DCC-2000 is available as a link here: http://www.cuisinart.com/products/coffee_bar/dcc-2000.html . The direct link to the manual is http://www.cuisinart.com/share/pdf/manuals/dcc-2000.pdf .

I hope this helps.

When i make a cup of coffee with my kuerig coffee maker my coffee is coming out with coffee grinds though it. how can i fix this problem?

Your coffe may be ground too finely for your maker.

Is your coffee maker flat-bottom or cone shaped? Or is it a french press?
Your coffee needs to be ground according to the brewing method. Too coarse and it will be watery, too fine and it will be too dark, or you might get grounds.

I have a coffee maker that makes 36 cups of coffee. How many cups of ground coffee should I use to brew 36 cups?

I would ordinarily use half the amount of scoops of coffee as the amount of cups the coffee maker makes. A scoop being a Tablespoon of ground coffee. Less if you want it weak and one or two more if you want it very strong.

My CJX Series decided not to brew! I checked the manual's troubleshooting, (The coffee is not brewing) everything is correct! The unit has power and the light comes on, will not start brewing cycle.

heating elements in coffee makers have an internal thermal protection device to locate it access the bottom cover find the wires leading to the element you will find on one of the wires a silver bullet shaped device this is the culprit, you can check with an ohm meter to verify the device is defective of open reading, go to your local appliance repair place with the defective unit in hand, perchance a replacement unit and 2 securing rings to crimp the new replacement back on the wires, reassemble and enjoy your coffee good luck about 8 dollars max...

How do I clean my Keurig coffee maker?

I clean my Mr Coffee by pouring a half water/white vinegar into the water holder andturn the coffee maker on andlet the vinegar do its thing. A refill with a little lemon juice in the water gets rid of any vinegary smell left behind.
