well, if check engine ligth on have the codes pull to find out the problem it may be mapp ,air ,sensor bad ..if engine ligth is on its picking up a a code..

good day! i have read your problem, i teach some simple tips to check whether your remote control is working or not considering you have a good battery. 1st tip is buy checking it through you cellphone camera. turn on your camera and point your remote control on your camera lens the press any button on your remote. if your remot is good you could see some ligth flashing from your cellphone screen witch indicates that the infrared is working. if thereis no ligth at all the remote is deffective. if there is a ligth and still it does not work in your tv maybe the remote you have is no compatible with your unit or the sensor receiver itself of the unit is defective. i hope this will help you.

maybe use a vaccum cleaner to clean out any dirt then wipewith a ligth damp cloth. worked fr me before. try it
