I would like to know the positive and ground pin numbers for the rear driver side brake connector. Its one and for to red and black on the passenger side. With lol?

    passenger side is 1 and 4 1 is red 4 is black, should read twelve on two points. what is driver side ? 5 is black is it 12 or 3 for red. wth?

I just took the brake switch from behind the brake i googled it how to change asr switch i took it out took it apart there was a short puched the metal tab back put the switch back togather and it was fixed all lights went out and the asr worked again dont go buy no 65 part when its easy to fix 1999 clk 320 now i need to find sun roof relay

Did you have the radio or CD on when you were doing all this work? Low battery voltage can cause it along with other reasons.

What does the BAS ASR light mean in a mercedes 1998 E320?
brake light switch ,that's the part you need to replace to fix that BAS/ASR light. It's a $20 US part, a screwdriver, and 15 minutes to fix.

The ABS ,BAS& ASR lights keep coming up
ABS--BAS

Most likely cause is the 'stop lamp switch'
It is a electric switch located on the brake pedal inside the car, about half way up on the brake pedal.
Pretty cheap too, I think the switch is only like $25 bucks.
2 connectors on the switch and then it turns out.

well.. the output speed sensor is the output side of your transmission speed sensor... these are horrible on merc's... easily replaced... but a pain to get the correct one.. and this sensor could cause almost all the problems you list alone... but with such low miles it may be a warranty item? as it is on your transmission...

BAS ASR problem
ok, first you have to clear the codes.
in this type of cars you cannot clear codes with a regular obd II it has to be the factory scanner or similar. after you clear the codes drive it for a while. when light comes back on scan it again and that is going to be your true problem. if you replaced the switch but didn't clear the code the light will be still on because the computer doesn't know that you fixed the problem. so try it out and let me know if worked.
