Hi there,
I have a YLTE6234DQ2 combo and the dryer will not heat up anymore. We had a tech come in and take a look and he says we need a new heating element. Problem is - this part is not available anywhere in NA. Is there another fix or workaround?? I have renters using the unit and I may have to buy a new set because of this problem.
Thanks
Where is NA? Have you tried some websites for part resources? I found your part available at partstore.com. If you type in your model number, I found your element on page 15 as part #3387749. It lists for about $60. I hope this gives you a little more hope.
Well, I find it hard to believe that this part is not available in all of North America, which includes Canada, Mexico and 49 of the 50 states. If you wish to pursue an option other than ordering the part on line, you can take the part number I provided and take it to your local appliance parts reatiler to see if they may have it. Otherwise, this website may be your only option. I checked 3 sites, with this one being the only one with the part listed. Let me know if you need further assistance.

Hi,
If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.
if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....
If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.
