I have a 2006 WD 65732.just replaced the lamp,still have white haze around,pepole and words.could it be a seal?

be sure the internal fan should be on ,,,for proper ventilation,

It sounds like the ballast may very well be whats causing the lamps to fail. I would try replacing tha ballast.

i have dots all over mytv screen.

Could be Bad Ballast,or defective cooling Fan, Lamp fan.

If Lamp Fan is not running when lamp trys to come on TV will turn off in order to protect the Lamp
The Ballast Board is what turns the Lamp ON.

The first would be excessive dust causing inadequate airflow through the lamp cage. Cleaning the filter may resolve the problem.

It could also be that one, or both, of the temperature sensors could be defective. This is a known problem to the extent that Mitsubishi extended the warranty an extra two years on your model and similar models with the same design.

Sounds like your lamp is out, change it.

if you used an OEM lamp rather than an original ,it may have gone out. The more expensive original bulbs last longer

looked up owners manual that was a waste of time, hmm the number one issue on this type of set is issues with the lamp. How old is it? Has it ever been replaced? Sometimes a visual inspection of lamp can fool you, but typically as they age a milky haze develops on the lamps glass or if it popped the lamp will be shatttered inside. Can't hurt to check it. make sure set is unplugged first just to be safe.
