The first would be excessive dust causing inadequate airflow through the lamp cage. Cleaning the filter may resolve the problem. It could also be that one, or both, of the temperature sensors could be defective. Try a hard reset to this set, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Bulb is out. Are there adjustments to mirrors or anything when just replacing the bulb? Would buying the full housing assembly be better?

just replace the lamp, no adjusts needed. I recommend a Phillips, OSRAM, or the original Mitsubishi lamp, as others will either not work or have a very short life. http://www.shopjimmy.com/dlplamps?tv_brands_select=Mitsubishi&tv_models=Mitsubishi+WD-57732

Something is definitely wrong if you are consistently only getting a month out of a bulb. Either something is overdriveing the power to the bulb (unlikely) or there is a vibration or something is intruding on the bulb itself. Good luck and let us know what you find on this.

Mitsubishi WD-57732 LAMP continuously burns out.

There are a few issues here:

The lamp you are purchasing could not be OEM, or a compatible lamp--OR you have a ballast/power supply issue blowing the lamp out.

The original lamp is manufactured by Osram, but a better and compatible lamp would be Philips, who pioneered the lighting for DLPs. The ballast needs to be compatible with the lamp and Mitsubishi ballasts are compatible with most lamps, but work best with Philips and Osram. Only buy from an authorized dealer!

I have a Mitsubishi WD-57732. The problem started

Lamp did not turn on at P-ON sequence
(No Lamp inserted)
(Disconnected cable between ballast and lamp)
(Lamp-Enable goes to DM but not to Ballast) It's related to the lamp.

Power supply was cut

you can buy a new power cord or you can use another wire to replace the cord. just buy the same size then you will need to remove the rear cover to access the internal. and then the old cord must be removed from the ac terminal pin and the assembled wire with plug that you buy can be replaced. you can directly re soldered the end of the ac wire at the pcb for ac supply.
