Touch screen not working - Garmin nuvi 650 GPS Receiver

Try to remove the battery and insert it back into your gps device and turn it on. If the screen does not still work, then you need to reset the nuvi, by holding down the power button for about 15 seconds, then the unit will restart, that way the touch screen should respond. If it still does not work, then you need to calibrate the screen to get it to work. To calibrate the screen, follow the sreps below:

1. Turn off your nuvi,
2. Press your finger on the upper left corner of the touch screen,
3. While holding your finger on the touch screen, turn on the nuvi,
4. Continue to hold your finger on the screen for about 30 seconds until the calibration screen appears (white screen with touch dot),
5. Then follow the on screen instructions.
