Sounds like the classic bad capacitor problem on the DM pwb. You can get the V26 DM pwb repair kit at the following link which will usually repair the issue. Kit contains replacement capacitors and CD with chassis dissasembly and explains which capacitors need replacement.

SOURCE: blinking green timer light on mitsubishi wd 52525

disconnect the connector for the front switch control board. Try turning it on with the remote. If it works replace that board, also look for bad caps on the small signal board. they're 1000Mf 16v

SOURCE: Mitsubishi Model WD-52725 timer green light blinking fast

My Mitsubishi WD52725 will not turn on...the timer light is blinking. We pushed the reset button, unplugged tv. Just got off the phone with Mitsubishi customer "service." After answering numerous personal questions, and being on hold for several minutes, I was told that the only solution was to push the reset button. Duh! We'd done that several times with no change, which is why I called them! BIG WASTE OF TIME!!!!

My Mitsubishi WD-52527 has a constant blinking green light. There is no video and no audio just a blinking green light when it is pluged in

I had a similar problem with my 42 in Philips LCD HDTV. Here was the problem. My Power Supply Board had several bad capacitors. I opened my TV (warranty was expired ofcourse) and found four bulged capacitors. Many electronics companies were sold capacitors that failed in 2-5 yearsinstead of 10-20. The capacitors failprematurely due to a lack of preservatives. Unfortunately, they were installed in allsorts of devices. Here are some options for you.
1. Have it fixed by a professional 2. Open your TV and find PSB. Checkfor faulty caps. If you find some (bulgedor leaking) bad caps replace the entire board. 3. Remove and then replace individual faulty caps. This takes some soldering skill. Caps are inexpensive and if you can take care of it yourselfit will save you hundreds. I have a tip/tutorialon this site that may also help. Itgives step by step instructions for replacing caps on PSB #715t2432-2. If this is your board you are in luck. It'scalled: Fixing the Philips Turns/shuts off on its own problem. Hope this helps and Good luck.Kaufman605
