C430 was s/c (burnt) in LOP stage and the resistor R420 was also burnt beyond recognition. It looks like it's the feed for the line drive voltage. Can you possibly tell me the value of the resistor as I do not have a manual. Thanks in anticipation...Steve

Scroll down to "Get Manual" at the web page and click on it to download.
Please note that on the first schematic above, the power amp schematic is way down beyond the parts list and layout of the preamp section... keep scrolling. ALSO the powoer amp shows a real WIERD connection where the output transistors drive against ground and the center tap of the power supply transformer for the power amp portion then bounces around with the audio output... that is a wierd connection but it is possible.
According to you your machine's resistor burnt out. This resistor is located above the 240 volt capacitor which white base. change theresistor soon. For color code of the resistor you can follow the manual. You can visit also the product website for tech assistance.
You have not mentioned what electronic equipment you are requesting the details.
You will be able to confirm the transistor value from the stage where it has burned which also goes for the resistor. So take tech help than to try with trials to damage the set much further.
Hello, The component is a resistor. The problem is going to be determining the resistors value since it was burnt and you can not see the color code. You might try contacting the manufacturer and asking them the value of that specific resistor by including the number like you did in your post R14. If you can find a wiring diagram for the product, it should tell you the value of the resistor also.
I hope this helps you getting started in solving the issue.
If you would not mind, please rate my help. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You
You can check out this website for your service information and parts: https://spares.bigwarehouse.com.au/index.php?cPath=24759_24762_24803 Paste the address in to your address bar. That will take you to the website. They had three of the four parts that you needed listed on the website 1.Q706 -Transistor bipolar FJAF5804 (TU) Fairchild $ 49.61 2. C744-Capacitor drawing SM SHR SYE/SWE 160V $ 19.06 3 R809- Resistor fixed small 1 ohm 2W 5% SF. $ 14.27 They also sold the service manual for $ 29.57. I hope this helps you with your problem.
Thats a RCA You'll have a hard time finding the service manual to that. But when a resistor burns it usually means something else made it burn so you need to look into the cause or a new resistor will almost certainly fry as soon as you power up. Hope this helps.
Sorry I dont know the chassis no. but the model no. is DTP 28A8 S
Could you please provide the model number and chassis number if possible?
