You'll have to recallibrate. use a 64 ounce measuring cup and follow the instructions on the inside of the front panel.

SOURCE: my bunn is too slow

Use the de-liming spring to clean the copper tube behind the spray head. Pour several pots of clear white vinegar through the unit to further remove lime and scale from the interior of your coffee maker. My Bunn is 24 years old, and the only replacement parts I've ever required are new carafes and the 4041 silicone washer repair kit.

if you use less grounded coffee and still does it the water go trus no problem the trouble is dirty filter if its metal one or were the coffee exit just before going in the carafe let me know thanks for using fixya pierre

SOURCE: does not brew a full pot of coffee

I had the same issue, poured in 8 and out came 6. Here's what I did to clean and fix.
1) Unplug the NHB
2) Remove accessories like the pot and basket
3) Bring NHB over to the sink
4) Snap off the entire top cover (not the swing lid) by starting at the front and lifting upward (the top cover is about 1/4" thick). The back of the top cover will pivot a bit and then pop off exposing the pour reservoir. Remove the flow stopper inside the pour reservoir by lifting it straight up.
5) Place the top cover and flow stopper aside.
6) Remove the brew diffuser (located underneath the top where the brew basket goes. Twist counterclockwise gently but forcefully enough to snap it past the lock tabs which hold it in place. You'll know that it you've done this correctly when it just falls out.
7) Still over the sink, tip the NHB in a fashion where the back side is facing upward and the brew side is facing down into the sink. You'll be holding the NHB horizontally by the top and bottom of the unit. This will allow any water in the tank to pour out the brew spout. Begin to tip the unit as if tipping upside down as this will allow any remaining water to drain out. If this does not work the brew spout hose may be clogged and you can just tip the unit entirely upside down to empty it from the fill hole in the pour reservoir.
8) Return the NHB to the upright position in the sink.
9) Using a scotch brite sponge and some baking soda, clean the inside of the pour reservoir and rinse.
10) Using the tool Bunn provided, clean out the brew spout hose which is located under the brew hat. This is the little hole where the water comes out. If you don't have the tool Bunn provided you could use something like a plastic tie-wrap. Don't use anything metal as the hose you're cleaning is made of plastic tube and could become punctured. Clean this hose for just a minute or two to ensure that there are no significant obstructions.
11) With the NHB upright in the sink, pour a slow stream of hot water from the faucet, about two cups, directly into the fill hole located in the pour reservoir.
12) Tip the unit horizontally, as in step 7, and place the tip of your finger over the pour reservoir fill hole covering it completely.
13) Shake the unit back and forth horizontally so the water in the tank splashes around and frees anything which may be built up in the tank. Some water may splash out of the brew spout hose.
14) Tip the unit as in step 7 to drain the tank water out.
15) Fill a 16 ounce glass with hot water and 2tbsp baking soda, mix and pour into the pour reservoir fill hole.
16) Repeat steps 13 and 14 once.
17) Repeat steps 11 through 14 three times.
18) Clean the pour reservoir cover, swing lid and flow stopper.
19) Put the flow stopper back in place.
20) Attach the top cover.
21) Clean the exterior of the NHB.
22) With the boil and warmer switches off, plug the NHB into the electrical outlet.
23) Turn the boil and warmer plate switches on.
24) Fill the NHB with one pot of cold water and close the swing lid. Wait one minute.
25) Fill the NHB with another pot of cold water. Place the pot on the warmer plate and close the swing lid. If water does not yet come out, fill with one more pot of water.
26) Allow water to drain from brew spout until it stops draining.
27) Empty pot.
28) Fill pot to 10 cup line and pour into the NHB. You should find that the NHB now delivers 10 cups back to the pot. Empty the pot.
29) Clean brew spout diffuser and replace back in the brew hat.
30) Clean the pot, pot lid and brew basket.
31) Wait ten minutes for the water in the tank to boil.
32) Brew your coffee as you normally would.

The only issue I experienced during this process was with the warmer plate switch. It appeared that the light in the switch blew although the warmer plate still warmed normally. Shortly after the water in the tank started boiling the warmer switch light started operating again.

there is also some chemical to flush thriufh a cycle called C.L.R. IT IS FOR CALCIUM LIME AND RUST ALOT OF HARD WATER DEPOSITS COME IN OUR DRINKINK WATERS.THE USE DISTILLED WATER AFTER YOU ARE FINISHED AND IT WILL NOT CLOG AS FAST

Our machine is plumbed into the water directly. When we brew a pot of coffee it never brews a full pot. any thoughts on what the problem is?

You should call your vendor for service on any commercial brewer. (Especially if it's on loan from them)

Most commercial (plumb in water line) has a start switch activates the timer (analog or digital) board which turns on the water feed to the brew tank. This forces previously heated water out and sprayed over the ground coffee in the brew funnel. Coffee then drips into the decanter. Under filling is caused by un-calibrated timer or interment timing.
* The timer comes in two types; Dial (old) and Digital. If it's the dial then a simple turn of the dial will make less or more water flow to decanter. You MUST re-brew (no coffee, but use funnel) into the decanter or pot that you plan to use. Don't mix up different size pots as the timer is only good for 1 setting. Turn dial and brew once to check. Keep checking with a brew after each adjustment. Do a final brew just to be sure.
* The digital timer is a bit more complicated to adjust. Sorry, too many switches and options to go into it here. Check your MFR online for a manual (usually a FREE download). Several methods may be listed.
* If it does not adjust or won't keep the set time then. Replace the timer. Digital timers tend to be sensitive to electrical storms. Analog timers have a dial and are more tolerant of electrical surges.
* Check the water fill solenoid. Should be a definite click when activated. Water filling sound should be very clear.
* No water flow then check the water supply line if it's on.
* Final; this brewer needs service. Call your coffee vendor for advice.

P.S., Older timers usually are reliable. It may have been set for a larger decanter or pump pot. The pump pots come in 2.5L and 3L for the big boys. Decanters are 10 cup and standard 12 cup. Check your office as there may be an unused pump pot or small decanter in a cupboard that got put away for making "too little" coffee. Try a brew in this smaller pot. Any change in pot size requires an adjustment to the timer. This is the only way to get "Less" or "More" out of the brewer. (Yes, if you have a "Pour Over" function for one time special brews. Check the manual for this option.)

I just bought the Bunn VLPF series, double burner. My other Bunn coffee pot had the option of make a half pot of coffee but this one does not Is there a tip to follow for half a pot?

Sorry this brewer is usually set up for a full pot brew. I have reset this for a small (but not half) pot brew as the customer wanted to use a metal carafe (with their own logo). I also tried once to get it to half pot brew but it can get tricky if you actually brew twice to get a full pot (in the same pot).
* there is a siphon action that starts once the boiler tank gets filled to a certain point. From that point it will continue to flow until the boiler is emptied to the level that stops the siphon action and leaves enough water in boiler to reheat for the next brew. Achieving the siphon point may be a larger volume of water for 1/2 a pot but may work for 3/4ths a pot. The 1/2 way mark may be affected by the brewers "level" while placed on a table or sagging in the middle of a weak table.
* Usually if you want a smaller brew then go with a smaller brewer. Though there is a hot water tap that will give you 2-4 cups of hot water (it gets tepid after that) which you can use for the "Mug" style brew. But it does get messy.ukeboy57
* Final, If you don't mind a little more than 1/2 pot brews then ask your vendor to adjust the machine for you. Though a reminder NOT the double brew in the same pot as it will overflow.

CWTF15 WILL NOT STOP WATER FLOW WHEN POT IS MADE.

The coffee dispensing valve is stuck open. It may be due to Calcium deposits.
Descale the machine or manually clean the dispensing valve and the diffuser disc that unscrews to be removed. This diffuser is visible just above the coffee pot.

* Since no brand or model given. I suspect this is a commercial coffee brewer as it probably has a plumbed in water line. Bloomfield, Curtis, and Bunn are the most common. I'm using Bunn CWTF for this example but it covers most other brands too.
* The CWTF has a start switch activates the timer (analog or digital) board which turns on the water feed to the brew tank. This forces previously heated water out and sprayed over the ground coffee in the brew funnel. Coffee then drips into the decanter. Under filling is caused by un-calibrated timer or interment timing.

P.S., The DUAL timer(s) ARE tricky to set as each brew size has to be set up and double checked (some 3-4 times) That means at least 6 separate settings. There is a copy over function but unless your brewing the same for both right and left, this copy function may not be suited fore your situation. (you may brew a smaller amount for the de-cafe side or even into smaller pump pots.) I've set up hundreds of these brewers but still have to use a cheat sheet (card with set up info) to get the digital timers right. *** These units may be locked out by the vendor *** You may still be required to call them to unlock the brewer.
* Final note; There is a BY-PASS valve on each brew head. Some are manual with a needle valve adjustment and others have a solenoid (similar to the brew head solenoid) This can affect the brew level too. Again, you will need the manual to set this up as there are hundreds of ways to brew in combination with the by-pass system. Ask about "Pulse brewing" for it's advantages.

I have a Bunn CWTF15. Water does not fill the coffee pot full anymore. Is there a float that needs to be adjusted? Would descaling help this problem? Thank you.

If u haven't cleaned it out using 3/4 vinegar to 1/4 water, some times this will happen. after running this thru ur coffee maker, (u won't believe the junk that comes out), then run full pots of water to rinse out (2x's). This should help it perform better.

THIS IS USED IN OUR CHURCH AND IT ONLY FILLS A 1/4 OF THE POT IT NEVER FILLS UP. AND ALWAYS USES THE WATER TANLK UP QUICKLY EVEN THOUGH IT HAS IT'S OWN WATER FEED.

First brew a pot without water, to find your current level. Next open the faucet and check the water flow, if it has a nice flow no stopping or spurting, then your water connection is good. Now adjust the brew level, the adjustment instructions are on the inside of the front panel. If after making adjustments you get the same result then the solenoid is blocked.

Can I adjust the water flow for finely ground coffee?

You probably have coffee ground for a drip coffee pot, not an automatic drip coffee maker. With a drip coffee pot, you put the coffee in and add the hot water on top of that. You might want to try a coffee press. They are fantastic for the finer grinds of coffee. Some Mexican coffees are ground almost as fine as flour and a press works great. You can get a press for about $12 & up.

Water over filling pot

There is a brew timer on the left side of your machine near the heater switch. you need to remove an access panel to access it. turn this down a little, let the water heat up, then try another brew. Adjust as needed, brewing another pot between each setting.

Cuisinart grind and brew

This happens when the machine needs cleaned. Fill coffee maker with white vineger instead of water. Turn grind off, make sure empty pot is in place. Brew a pot of hot vineger. Repeat. Brew a pot of hot water. Repeat. This process removes mineral buildups inside machine. If you have access to filtered water, start using that to brew your coffee. I do and probably do this process 1 per 6 weeks.
