What is the red color paint name? I need touch up! Thanks

you need to think about this query, how can we identify the colour you have seen? please be good enough to visit a car paint supplier and ask them to show you their colour charts.
If you take your vehicle for a colour match most of them will be happy to make a can of top quality touch up for you ...but at a good price

good luck

How do you change the colour wheel

remove the rear panel, front panel, and top. the colorwheel is between the lens and the lamp. removing it is easy, but to unplug it, you need to remove the 2 power boards, the shield, and the fan/lamp housing assembly. there is a tip on this site with a detailed description on replacing it. it's under infocus x2. the x2 and the sp4805 are basically the same machine.

Optima D10

Well, in the USA I understand it's
Part no: 70.18r26g01
Cost: 129.00+shipping BUT CHECK THE PART NUMBER IS CORRECT
Model :Optoma DV-10
Contact no: (408) 383-3710 or 888.942.2929.

In the UK I don't know of a colour wheel supplier although I suspect 7-segment colour wheels from other manufacturers MIGHT fit, but it's a gamble and you'd need to check with them before spending any money in case it doesn't fit.

One company that has spares for Optoma is BlueGoose Systems but they don't have the colour wheel. Well worth speaking to them for other parts, 01624 671719 www.bluegoosesystems.co.uk for an online 'gander' at what they have in parts.

Infocus SP4805 buzzing noise

Hi dcabbarno

The buzzing noise is a broken colourwheel and the shadow could be a part of the colourwheel that is obstructing the light engine or it could be your packlight pipe ( tunnel with 4 tiny mirrors in it ) that was damaged when the colourwheel broke.

I do unfortunately not have the part numbers of the parts that I mentioned , but you could assist by opening up the unit and supplying me with the part numbers.

The colourwheel you will spot straight away once you've taken off the top cover of the Projector , the packlight pipe is situated right next to it - looks like a small tunnel that's got 4 mirrors inside it - takes the light into the light engine.

Once you've supplied me with these I can get you prices and places to order it from and will help you with instructins on how to replace them - it is quite easy to DIY.

Thanks for using Fixya !

Color Wheel SP 4805

well, u might laugh at how i have solved this problem a couple of times... yea, the colour wheel on my sp4805 came apart to pieces, literally. the first time it was only two of the six segments, so i reglued em with SUREHOLD all american super glue. it lasted perfectly for about , say, 5 months or so... then, it happenned again this time shattering all of the six segments to pieces. oh, no!!!!! well, i breathed woundly and looked for the glue one more time... yes, an artesan work that took me about 3 hours and my eyes crying to almost perfectly glue together all of the six segments one by one, each one in pieces and this time the color, of course, isnt so perfect, but close to it... how long will it last this time? can someone tell me why no one sells this pieces, it would be a great business over the internet!!! i dont wanna bury my sp4805 in the backyard... and i dont know if the colour wheel can sustain any more glue... lol. well, its just a solution for a few months while u can save for a new proyector... shame for infocus... hope it helps u. let me know if u know about someone who sells color wheels ok?
