Hi,
I bought an Samsung Amani phone but cannot get my email set up on it. Would anyone have the settings as my network does not support the handset. I can input my own networks details, just need the general settings and where to go to set it up.
Thanks,

Not sure if anyone has posted the fix. Here is how I was able to send e-mail through my Network Solutions account. Under your specified e-mail account there is an option for "Outgoing Mail Server". Select this setting and you should see your outbound smtp server listed under "Primary Server". Click on this setting and change the "Server Port" from 587 (Port 587 is reserved for email message submission) to port 25.
You should not be able now send e-mail.
Cheers!

Ok Here's what I did to resolve the problem...
This from network solutions plus the steps that i followed. The phone auto detected the ports settings. It automatically will atempt authenticate using ssl. once it failed it asked would i like to try not using ssl i selected yes. Note had to that twice. Then it worked like a champ
Good luck...

You can only change the band if your provider offers service on that band. So if you have bad reception on your current band try switching provider.. which offers their service on other / multiple bands.
