Bugaboo don't sell parts as such but they sell the chassis. It will coat you around a third of the price of a new Bugaboo. The new Red brake lever chassis has the lever extension handle locks instead of the wing-nuts and rocker style buttons for the handle release. Your old frame will be quite sort after on eBay. I like the rocker handle release and the extension levers are quick to use and look better but I must warn you the old wing-nut system held the handle better and if you bump down a lot of stairs the new lever system is more prone to slipping, i have a bugaboo wlth the white colour brake and - macnutz_16.jpg

The brake button on my bugaboo chameleon is jammed and won't release therefore the brake won't work , what an i do

Hi,

Your best bet is to contact www.bugaboo.com for a brake assembly replacement. If the break is permanently in the 'on' position, then gently push it forward (as if to put in on) whilst pushing the white release button, this should release the mechanism. If this is still within it's warranty, see your retailer for help.,

I hope this helps.

My bugaboo cameleon's break no longer works. It

Hi,

There are two ways of solving this. You can either contact the retailer where this was purchased for repair under warranty (if this was of course a fault and under two years old) or you can contact Bugaboo for a replacement brake assembly kit. This is very straight-forward to replace yourself.
www.bugaboo.com - if you go via Bugaboo themselves, they will require your purchase information, colour, serial number etc.
I hope this helps.

Bugaboo Hand Brake Mechanism

I have easily solved this problem here in Brazil, where there are no Bugaboo retailers or assistance. I just opened the brake lever case by unscrewing it and fixed the white piece in its correct position. It's very easy to figure it out.
The only special care you have to take is not to lose the spring that is inside it.
I've read the solution here in this site wherelse.
